Vinegar Hill House Wedding
Ammu and Alaa wanted to have a laid-back, chill wedding celebration in their home-borough of Brooklyn. So they hosted an intimate and delicious family-style meal in the carriage house at Vinegar Hill House in Dumbo.
Earlier in the day the two were married in a Hindu ceremony in a temple in Queens with their families and closest friends.
After a change of attire, we hit Brooklyn Bridge Park to take some photos with their families with the spring cherry blossoms and the Brooklyn Bridge and skyline as our backdrop before walking together to Vinegar Hill House for the reception. They had lots of wine and specialty cocktails downstairs in the wine cellar, and then made their way upstairs to gather around a communal table to toast and eat and celebrate. It was a beautiful Brooklyn microwedding, and I’ll never get tired of capturing these intimate, fun, and relaxed weddings in NYC.
